Lackan Bay Tide Clock.

Lackan Bay beach is located along the North Mayo coastline, between the towns of Killala and Ballycastle, Ireland. The beach looks out onto the Atlantic and offers a breath-taking view of the North West coast. Lackan is the site of the French landing at Kilcummin Strand in 1798 and the start of General Humbert’s march to Ballina.

Lackan is divided in two by a 600 acre strand and a 500 acre marshland. It has two small harbors, one at Rathlacken in Lackan Bay and the second at Kilcummin in Killala Bay.
